Importing leads from Handshook to Microsoft Dynamics is a simple process.
Export Lead Data #
- First, either open the Handshook app or sign in to admin.handshook.app with your account credentials.
2a. In the app click export button and select the fields and date ranges you’d like to export.
2b. From the admin web portal, pull a list of leads you’d like to export and click the export button.
3. That’s it. Your lead data will be available on your mobile device or computer. Please take not as to where you saved it.
Import Lead Data #
Now in open Microsoft Dynamics. You will use the Import Data Wizard.
- Go to Settings > Data Management > Imports.
- On the command bar select Import Data > Import Data.
- Browse to the folder where you saved the file that contains the import file. Select the file, and then select Open. Then, select Next.
- Follow Import Data Wizard to ensure your data is properly mapped with your lead fields in MS Dynamics. More detailed steps include:
a. Delimiter settings – Choose “Comma” as the delimiter for Handshook data.
b. Field Mapping – Select from Automatic mapping or custom mapping (recommended).
c. Record Types – Select the type of records you are importing (i.e. Account or Lead).
d. Confirm Mapped Data – Confirm that the fields are mapped properly.
e. Import Settings – Choose any other settings.
f. Submit
